Brrrrrrrrr.....no snow here but

it's snowing in Raleigh which is two hours from here. Linz and I are standing here freezing in downtown NEw Bern. Logan is in the parade with his football friends.

Landon is going to a party for his dear friend Jonathon. Jonathon and his family are moving to Alabama on the 18th.

What a rip off.....

         So, it's hurricane season here on the Crystal Coast.  We had our first real threat.  It's name was EARL.  Guess what....NOTHING!!!  Don't get me wrong.  I hate the thought of all the damage and pain a hurricane can cause, but when you have stock piled everything and are ready to ship your family to a shelter so that G and I can go to the hospital to work............you can be a bit disappointed.  I mean like little to no rain and just a breeze.  Oh, well.........better to be safe than sorry and I am glad that no one, animal or home was damaged. 


        It's beautiful out today.  We are ready for Craven Bearcat Football to start tomorrow.  Go Bearcats!!!  We are having a pep rally pig picking tonight.  I hope it will be lots of fun  Actually, Logan is loving football.  Landon not so much but that is not surprising to anyone.  I told Landon he just has to finish what he starts.  He doesn't have to ever play again but we need to finish out the season.  I'm proud of him for understanding.  I know it's hard to keep doing something you don't like because the coach is not nice and you don't feel like you are any good.  We will stick with swimming, Awanas and maybe check out boy scouts again for him.  I think music will be good for him too. 


       I gotta get my scrappbooking business up and going strong.  People want it and I can provide if I can get my act together.

O.P.P........

     What is this you ask?  Well, let me explain.  Have you ever moved?  We are moving right now into a house with GREAT potential.  Yeah, I said it....with....I didn't say a GREAT house.  Glenn feel in love with it and I hated it.  BUT as it always seems to be....Glenn was pissy and pouted so I gave in.  Don't feel sorry for me.  I always give in.  I let him continue to be pissy and pouty because I don't put my foot down.  I'm workin on this.  I need to not just let everyone in my life walk on me....anyhoo.....We came over to start cleaning it up so we could get it painted, the carpets cleaned and it needed some spot things. 

    What we came into was a mess...the house was just nasty.  The yard is a FOREST, the paint job and little fixer uppers are horrible.  So, we spent all last weekend cleaning on our hands and knees anything and everything.  My bestest friend in NB, Pam, came over and worked her booty off. 

   So, back to the O.P.P. (Other People's Poop)......I never in my life want to clean up other peoples nasty leftover crap.  Now, I'm not talking about my patients at work who are old and sick.  I'm talking about moving into a house that 5 very healthy, capable people just moved out of.  That is my moving bit$# fit and vent.  Thank you for listening.


  Now, Andrew has been working his arse off this week painting, patching, and doing whatever it is he does best.....which includes fixing my bit#hes....LOL.  If you are in the Craven, Pamlico, Carteret area need a guy who can do it all....let me know.  Andrew has saved my marriage.  We moved the washer and dryer over yesterday so today I'm at the new house doing laundry.  We moved almost everything.  It is in the garage...why because of course the carpet could not get done till tomorrow morning at 830am.  So another week and now trying to live in 2 different homes.  Beds in one...everything else in the other....should be a very fun week.  *note of sarcasm*

She is walking....

Our little girl turned a year old 2 weeks ago.  She is growing so fast and is really stubborn. 

She took her first steps today....it won't be long now.
